Shortly after Newport lies the hamlet of Nevern. Or walk a part of the Wales Coast path around Ynys Dinas.Īt Newport the A487 heads into the Preseli Mountains. From here you can wander to the beautiful hidden beach of Pwllgwaelod in the Cwm Dewi valley, which is rich in wildlife. Overlooking the beach lie the ruins of St Brynach's church which was destroyed in the great storm of 1859. On the eastern edge you’ll find the hamlet and beach of Cwm yr Eglwys.
